- Well, NT 4.0 is not out yet, but people say even its beta is pretty stable.
- If you are looking for a development environment and you do not have hardware
- constrains, go for NT. No doubts here. The word is "stability". I had four
- copies of VC++ 4.0 running on my workstation at the same time today debugging
- different pieces of our application, and environment _worked_ without a
- single problem. I haven't restarted my NT in about 3 months. That's a pretty
- good result for a heavily used development station. With Win95 this level
- of stability can hardly be expected.
-
- I'm not saying VC++ 4.0 will never crash or anything like it, but compared to
- Win95 you will feel yourself 100% bulletproof. The darn thing really works!
-
- For the record: I have a Pentium 90 w/48Mb RAM.
